Privacy Policy

1What data we collect

When you register and use CattleSales, we store:

• Account data: name, email, phone number, password hash (we never see the password itself).
• Farmer profile: country, region, city/town, profile photo — anything you provided voluntarily.
• Listings: description, animal photos, price, location coordinates (for map display).
• Technical data: IP address, device type, app version, interface language. Used for anti-fraud and error diagnostics.
• Cookies: only functional ones — auth session, selected language, CSRF token. No third-party trackers.
• Chat and call history: message text, timestamps of incoming/outgoing VoIP calls (without voice recordings).

2How we use data

• Show listings to your region and interested buyers.
• Connect sellers and buyers via built-in chat and VoIP.
• Notifications about new messages, reviews, and listing status.
• Anti-fraud — detecting fake accounts, bots, and spam.
• Anonymous aggregated analytics — how many listings are in each region, which breeds are popular. Not linked to specific individuals.

We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

3Who we share data with

Technically, data is shared only with the following processors — strictly to the extent needed for each function:

• VoIP-провайдер — for routing voice and video calls (session metadata only, no call recording).
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — for delivering push notifications to your phone. The device token and brief notification text are transmitted.
• OpenAI API — For translating public breed descriptions into other languages only. Personal data (phone numbers, email, chats) is not sent to OpenAI.
• Legal requests — upon an official request from law enforcement authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic, properly issued under the law.

4Storage and protection

All data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases on our own servers physically located in the Kyrgyz Republic. We do not use foreign cloud services to store personal data.

• TLS 1.3 for all traffic between your device and our servers.
• Passwords are stored as Argon2/PBKDF2 hashes — even CattleSales staff cannot read them.
• All uploaded photos are scanned by ClamAV antivirus before being saved.
• Регулярные резервные копии в зашифрованное хранилище — на случай аппаратного сбоя.
• Daily database access monitoring.

5Cookies and analytics

We use only functional cookies — the ones the site needs to work: login session, selected language, CSRF protection against request forgery. No ad trackers, no Google Analytics, no Yandex.Metrica, no Facebook Pixel. If we add analytics in the future, it will be anonymous and installed only with your explicit consent.

6Your rights

At any time, you have the right to:

• Access: view all your data in the Profile section.
• Correction: отредактировать или удалить любое из своих объявлений и любую часть профиля.
• Delete account: complete deletion of the profile and related listings from profile settings or upon request. Deletion is irreversible.
• Data export: upon request at contact@cattles.net, we will send you a copy of all your data as a JSON file within 14 days.
• Complaint: если вам кажется, что мы нарушили эту политику — напишите legal@cattles.net.

7Children

CattleSales is not intended for people under 14. We deliberately do not collect children's data. If a parent discovers that their child created an account, write to contact@cattles.net and we will delete it within 24 hours.

8Policy changes

If we make major changes to this policy, we will post the new version here and notify registered users by email and/or push notification. The effective date is shown at the bottom of the document. By using the service after an update, you agree to the new terms.
